Sharing with Mom’s on the web
I will be holding a coupon class on Wednesday, August 3rd at the East Stroudsburg United Methodist Church! This class will be from 9:30am - 11:00am.
You will leave with:
- the basic knowledge of coupons
- ethical couponing
- how to donate to organizations from your stockpile
- how to be responsible stewards with your grocery budgets
- familiarity with some of the local store policies in the area!
There will also be a table for coupon swapping, so bring coupons you may want to swap/share with others! As a disciple we all need to be good stewards of the blessings we have been given. When we become more aware of our spending, we can give more and help others in need.
Please reserve your seat! The fee for this class … is FREE and open to the community. We do ask that each person bring two pantry items to be donated to the Salvation Army.
In need of child care during the class? Your child is welcomed to join our Vacation Bible School event! The 2010 VBS had about 144 children attend … along with 24 youth & 36 adult volunteers! This is a great way for your child to have fun & meet new friends, all the while you learn to coupon! This event is FREE to attend! Any questions with the VBS program, please contact Sue Randall, Director of Children’s Ministry at ESUMC.

Hello,
Are you planning on holding another class? My wife and I have 6 children here in East Stroudsburg and would love to learn how to extreme coupon. We have used the coupons, but only to have $5-$10 come off the bill (typical bill is 120-170 per store per week, 2-3 stores). We would love to find ways to extreme coupon on detergent, toilet paper, etc.
Thanks

Shawn, it’s exciting that you want to learn to coupon! You will be saving so much money for your family! For my family of 5, my weekly food budget is just $50. This is something I personally set as a goal … which I now can do, because of my stockpile. It’s in the works for a possible weekend class, so keep checking back!
