This site even has the sales that are pre-Thanksgiving and Thanksgiving day!!!!  Now, if you’re like my Husband … you need to know EVERY deal out there ahead of time.  Why, you ask … because he absolutely needs his “Game Plan”.  He has done this for over 8 years.  He sets the alarm for 4:00 AM …. gets up, gets dressed, reviews his “Game Plan” and then the critical “Play” in this Game Plan is to hit Dunkin Donuts first!!  He LOVES his Dunkin Donuts coffee.  I guess you can say, “My husband runs on Dunkin!”  Once he has the DD coffee in hand … he’s off and running.  Whatever you do, don’t even think of offering a change in play now … everything is down to the timing of the stores.  Walmart opens first … Kmart usually opens an hour after Walmart … so Walmart is ALWAYS the first stop in the Game Plan.  Then a quick pass through Kmart, then it’s onto Target … after that he hits the local mall.

My Husband’s favorite memory of Black Friday is when some 80 year old woman ran him over with her cart.  Then she continued to ram him in the back of his foot.  By this she was driving him crazy.  So he decided that ramming her back was slightly more fair play.  Then he calmly said to her, “you will not get the item you want if you continue to ram me, because I will not get out of your way.” … The lady did not apologize, just gave a dirty look and charged off in another direction.  The moral of this story is:  Watch out for the crazy ladies out there!!

You all wondering if I’m just as crazy about this as he is … NO!  He gets the deals, while I stay home in a nice warm bed!  I usually stay home with child #2 & 3 … but child #1 and her BFF (best friend forever .. teen talk!), have done this with him for the past 4 years!!  Yes, they have a tradition and they live for it, each year!  (execpt child #1 gets a latte and BFF gets a hot chocolate at DD.)  I have only participated 2 times … apparently I slow them down.

I suggesting that everyone just bookmark this site, so that you can refer back to when your planning your “Game Plan”.   If you don’t feel like it, don’t worry, I’ll just repost it closer to Thanksgiving!!
